The Roannais region is the crossroads between different regions, the Lyonnais, Burgundy and the Auvergne, each with their rich historical and natural heritage and is full of things to see and do.
Ancient abbeys in fortified villages full of local character, such as Villerest and Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice, châteaux by lakes and water with superb vistas, there is lots to do and see.
Sports lovers can indulge in a game of tennis or golf, in immaculately-maintained facilities, or set out on the hiking trails across the varied countryside of the Côte Roannaise, on foot, on mountain bike or on horseback…

And the water sports on Villerest lake - swimming, pedalos, dinghies, surf boarding, canoeing… - are ideal for every generation.

In 2005, Véronique and Olivier Boizet planted Côteau Bouthéran with the Roussane grape variety (grape variety of white Saint-Joseph )
in collaboratio with a wine producer from the Côte Roannaise.
After the third 'leaf' or third autumn after planting, the first harvest took place on 29 September 2008 and bottling at the end of March 2009.
The wine can be sampled in the restaurant or in our cellars.
